Simoco Two Way Radios

The Simoco brand began when the Philips two-way radio business was acquired by a UK company in 1996.
In Australia, Simoco continued to design radios with engineering and software support and in 2002 TMC Radio was created when a management buyout team acquired the intellectual property of Simoco’s mobile and portable range as Simoco Worldwide sold its Communications business.
The same management buyout team, trading as ComGroup Australia, was formed one year earlier when they acquired the systems and service arm of Simoco Pacific.
In 2010, ComGroup changed ownership when UK based Team Telecom Group added ComGroup and its subsidiaries including TMC Radio to its portfolio of Radio Communications Specialist companies.
